Description
The Town of Beausejour and local community organizations offer a variety of sport and recreation opportunities. Swimming, Hockey, Soccer, Lacrosse, Volleyball, Basketball, Badminton, Athletics and more – the Town of Beausejour has plenty to offer its residents! The Sun Gro Centre is a multi-purpose recreation facility that offers an indoor arena, outdoor rink, meeting rooms, curling rink, and concession. The full sized, indoor ice arena is used from September to March. It currently hosts hockey, ringette, rec hockey, and power skating programs. The arena is also home to the Eastman Selects U18 AAA Hockey Team. One of the many great aspects of The Sun Gro Centre is it's 6 sheet indoor curling rink and licensed lounge, which is home to the Beausejour Curling Club. The Splash Pool is a seasonal Aquatic Centre that operates June-September. It offers Red Cross swimming lessons, as well as specialized training and courses such as Bronze Medallion, Bronze Cross and the Water Safety Instructor course. Our facility includes a 25 meter swimming pool with 5 lanes and a water slide. We also have a 5 person hot tub and a kiddie pool, plus onsite change rooms and bathrooms. Accredited lifeguards are on duty during pool hours.
