Description:
The Shakespeare Play: Romeo and Juliet (ages 13-18 only, please) Studying a role allows students to appreciate and comprehend Shakespeare’s work in a way that mere reading can never match. This class will train students to confidently deliver some of the most eloquent lines in the English language as they perform a shortened version of one of Shakespeare’s masterpieces. Students must be available for dress rehearsals and performances. Homework: memorize lines. No registration is necessary: simply email your interest to omahahomeschool@gmail.com to receive audition material. Auditions are Dec. 9th and callbacks are Dec. 11th. Times: Cast One rehearses Fridays from 11am-12:45; Cast Two rehearses Fridays from 1:05pm-2:45pm beginning January 8th. Tuition: $130 Class Fee: $40 Prerequisite: Students must be cast.
