WeWalk - Ray Lee (Health Services)

 I walk for those who find it difficult to or can't. In our community, that can comprise many people, from those with physical challenges to those with psychological challenges. The fact we are a community centre means we exist for the community and we serve the community. If we lose sight of our sense of community, we can begin to lose a sense of ourselves because we can grow to be isolated and insular. However, if we live with and for our community, we can begin to find meaning, a sense of purpose, and love. Let's continue this journey to fight against the desperation of our times even in the midst of the coronavirus, and support those who find it difficult to support themselves. I walk for our Health Service professionals who labour in the Wellness Clinic and Counselling. They are extremely good and professional at what they do, and they do so much. I applaud these workers and volunteers because they have not stopped serving the community! They are our frontlines, our bright light on the hill, and our faithful servants of God.
