Description:
One of the great pleasures of summer is the beautiful flowers growing in our yards! In this workshop, you will learn how to capture the beauty of your favourite summer flowers in the glowing colours of watercolour. Basic watercolour techniques, such as applying washes, modeling and blending, and using masking, will first be reviewed, so beginners in watercolour are welcome. Next, we'll learn further techniques and approaches as we work from a variety of watercolour examples, and then apply them to our own photo references. The second day will be dedicated to heading outdoors, as the weather allows, to paint from blooming life!
