Description:
Explore the intricate discipline of pen and ink. You will earn basic and exploratory ink techniques including methods for mixing media. Take risks with painterly techniques, and experiment with unconventional tools. The properties and uses of different papers will be discussed and demonstrated. A variety of lines, values, and textures will be demonstrated and employed. Composition and design considerations will be addressed while studying and interpreting simple landscapes, flora, and fauna. Instruction is suitable for all skill levels.
