The classic painting medium, oils are now much safer to use, but still produce rich and satisfying results while encouraging your personal expression. And, unlike acrylics, oil gives you lots of time for blending and subtle transitions of colour.

In Part 2 we'll include other subject matter - people and pets, buildings, still life, or subjects you'd personally like to paint, introducing some additional techniques such as painting detail and 'palette knife' applications. You'll be encouraged to begin to discover your personal "voice" as you hone your painting skills.

Attendance of Getting Started with Oil Painting is not required to attend this class.
