Getting Started Oil Painting

Description:

The classic painting medium, oils are now much safer to use, but still produce rich and glowing results while encouraging your personal expression. And, unlike acrylics, oil gives you lots of time for blending and subtle transitions of colour.

These classes will focus on developing painting skills, including the basics of brush handling and colour mixing. We'll begin with simple still life, then landscape as subject matter.

Although this is a beginner's, from-the-ground-up course, anyone wishing to hone their skills is welcomed to join us, as well as those who have been in previous classes and want to continue.
