Description:

Through guided poetry prompts and inquiry, we will spend time in conversation with art, including that on display at the Window Art Gallery. Workshop participants will create ekphrastic poetry, which responds to or is inspired by a piece of art. This class is generative (we will write - lots) and beginner-friendly (no creative writing experience is necessary)! You will experience collaborative writing exercises, share your work in a low-stakes environment, and leave with new avenues to explore your writing practice.
