Description:
The way we look at ourselves as artists and individuals is extremely important. This workshop is intended to promote positive thoughts and attitudes towards oneself while combining the creativity of art with affirmations. Together, we will be painting our very own personal flower gardens. It is expected that no two gardens will look the same as there are ample different types of flowers that can be incorporated. From the size, shapes, colours, and textures of each flower, there is great variation. The diversity of flowers as a whole is extremely beautiful and the differences displayed are what makes them so unique. There is no one way to create a garden and this will allow creative flexibility. After painting our garden, we will make speech bubbles of flowers talking to either themselves or another flower in the garden. These conversations between flowers are going to be affirmative and positive, encapsulating the connection between self and community.
