Description:

In this workshop series, we will play a range of drawing games that, week by week, move from the didactic and quintessentially “art class,” to the fantastical and absurd. The series will culminate with participants creating their own games for each other to play. Through a drawing practice that is committed but does not take itself too seriously, we will explore what the ends of drawing could be, beyond expression and documentation—what might drawing illuminate about collectivity, how we remember and forget, chance and failure?
