Develop a sketchbook with your own designs and story ideas. Students have the chance to work through the animation preproduction process while learning, or practicing, drawing techniques used in traditional animation. Topics of focus will be; how to create appealing character designs, anatomy for animators, drawing stylized backgrounds using perspective, storyboarding and storytelling. This is a great class for students interested in building a portfolio for post-secondary animation programs, folks interested in animation looking to workshop ideas in a constructive environment and anyone who loves cartoons!
