Description:

In this 6-hour workshop, we will mix the dye vat; review techniques and wrap, tie or stitch the fabric; and then dip-dye these pieces throughout the afternoon until we get the light, medium, or dark blue colour you want! Each participant will go home with up to 3 meters of dyed fabric, instructions for rinsing and washing, and suggestions for use, including a pattern to make a pillowcase.

Recommended Materials: All dyeing materials are provided, but participants should bring their own fabrics. Please bring 100% cotton or silk only. This will not work with synthetic fabrics. You can pre-order 100% cotton, prepared for dyeing (PFD) fabric from the facilitator at $12 per meter. Just shoot us a message!
