Description:
In this course you will learn several watercolour painting techniques and processes to produce expressive and realistic landscapes, with a focus on trees, hills, water and skies. You will also learn about the properties and uses of materials and tools to make informed choices. Application of contrasting values will be employed to produce pictorial depth. Step-by-step exercises, using a limited palette, will be practiced before exploring multi-coloured schemes. Attention to creating pleasing compositions will be central to the course. All levels welcome.
