Description:
Natural charcoal (vine or willow) is the most ancient drawing tool and was commonly used by the Old Masters. Because of its expressive possibilities and easy corrections, it remains popular to this day. Another medium the Masters frequently drew with – often in combination with charcoal – was conte crayon, which offers a range of earth colours, besides black and white. In this workshop we'll explore some of the possibilities of these two mediums, both separately and together.
