Description:

Oils and acrylics are natural companions and have a lot in common:

Both are opaque, and so follow the traditional dark-to-light painting progression; both facilitate smooth to impasto and textured applications; both can be enhanced by transparent glazing.

This “continuing” course is for those who have some experience in either oil or acrylic and wish to develop their personal approach to painting. You'll be working with your own subject matter, so be sure to bring reference photos. Also, anticipate perhaps taking our stuff outdoors on a nice day!
