Description

Scarborough Gym Elites is a not-for-profit gymnastics club providing families in south-east Scarborough with recreational and competitive programming. The Club is managed by a highly qualified staff and governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. We offer recreational programs for toddlers through adults that include gymnastics, trampoline and adult fitness. Our children's programs follow the CanGym program and children earn badges as they achieve new skills. The Club also offers birthday parties, movie nights, and camps on PA days and during school holidays. Our competitive program is for the serious athlete. We run a Women's Artistic Gymnastics (WAG) program under the guidance of Gymnastics Ontario and Gymnastics Canada. Qualified athletes in this program may compete at the Provincial and National levels. Athletes are selected for this program during spring try-outs and will train between six and twenty hours a week. Our fully air-conditioned gym is well equipped. In addition to bars, beams, and vaults, we have a sprung floor, a tumble track, two in-ground trampolines, ropes, a large foam pit and much more. All our coaches, from recreational coach to high performance advanced are trained through the National Coach Certification Program (NCCP). Our programs are designed to enhance the participants mental and physical development and self-confidence. We look forward to seeing you at the gym.
