Venez découvrir les fleurs extraordinaires de nos forêts au printemps, apprendre à identifier les arbres du Québec, et observer l’ouverture des bourgeons! Chaque sortie servira également d’échange linguistique et se déroulera à moitié en français et à moitié en anglais. Il y aura des activités participatives, techniques et ludiques. Nous marcherons dans les sentiers du parc du mont-Royal et du cimetière du mont-Royal, afin de prendre l’air et atteindre un sommet, en général.

Quand? 8 séances les jeudi soir de 18h à 20h à partir du 27 avril.

Come and discover the extraordinary wildflowers that return to our forests each spring! Learn to identify the trees of Quebec and observe the opening of the buds each week! Each outing will be a language exchange and will take place half in French and half in English. There will be participatory, technical and fun activities. We will walk the trails of Mount Royal Park and the Mount Royal Cemetery, to get some fresh air and exercise, and we will typically reach a summit.

When? 8 sessions on Thursday evenings from 6 - 8 p.m. starting April 27th.

Prerequisites: Pouvoir marcher sans difficulté jusqu'au sommet du mont-Royal (environ 5 km). Un niveau minimal en français et en anglais vous permettant de discuter et de comprendre un peu vous aidera à mieux profiter de l'expérience. Be able to comfortable hike to the summit of Mount Royal (around 5 km). If you have a minimal level in French and English to be able to have simple discussions and understand explanations, you will get more out of the activity.
