Registration

A non-refundable fee of $30 per student is required yearly at time of registration, along with the first month’s tuition payment in order to secure a spot in classes or lessons.

Tuition Fees & Payments

-Tuition rates are for the full season (September-June, including studio holidays), not by the number of classes in the month. A full season includes 34 weeks of scheduled classes. Tuition fees are paid monthly or annually.

-Tuition must be paid by automatic bank account debit or automatic credit card payment. Tuition will be debited from your bank account on the 1st day of each month from September-June or charged to your credit card the 1st day of each month. The month of September is non-refundable. Credit card or bank debit payments are not accepted for in-person payment on a monthly basis. Payment must be made by pre-authorized automatic monthly payment. All charges will appear on your bank statement or credit card statement as being from Aspire.

Costume Fees

-Costume Rental fees for the Holiday Show will be charged to your auto-debit or auto-credit card charge October 1st. No costume fees will be refunded after this date even if a student withdraws from the school. Costume fees for the year-end recital will be charged to your auto-debit or auto-credit card charge November 1st. No costume fees will be refunded after this date even if a student withdraws from the school.

-If you do not want your student(s) to participate in either show, a recital non-participation form must be filled out at the front desk by September 25th for the Holiday Show, and by October 25th for the Spring Recital, in order to avoid being charged costume fees.

NSF Fees

NSF on paper checks, auto-debit, or auto-charge payments will incur a $20 NSF fee which will be paid at the front desk along with the tuition.

Withdrawal From Classes/ Refunds

There is a two-month minimum for all lessons. One-month notice from the first of the month is required to discontinue any classes. Refunds will NOT be given for tuition and payments already paid or submitted. No withdrawals will be accepted after April 1.

-To withdraw a parent must: 1) inform the studio in person, and 2) complete and sign a withdrawal form. All automatic bank debiting or credit card charges will stop after the one-month notice period.

Rescheduling and Substitution

Aspire reserves the right to provide a substitute teacher if the regular teacher is ill or is otherwise unable to teach. Aspire reserves the right to reschedule or combine classes.

Inclement Weather or Interruption Policy

If the school must cancel classes due to extreme weather or events beyond our control such as power outages, the missed lessons will be added onto the end of the teaching year. No refunds for lessons missed due to these reasons will be given.

Care of Students

The school is not responsible for providing before or after class care for students. Parents with students under the age of 5 are to remain in the school during classes. Students are not to be left at the school for excessive time before or after class.

Lost and Found

A lost and found basket is located in the lobby hallway. Please check the lost and found basket regularly as all lost and found items are donated to Goodwill on the 1st and 15th of the month.

At Aspire we go the great lengths to keep you informed and up to date. Please make sure to update your current e-mail and telephone numbers at the front desk.

Dance Attendance

Regular attendance is vital to student progress and group choreography. Please make every effort to attend each class. Students may make up missed classes until April 1. If you miss more than two of the final eight classes before recital, you may be dismissed from participating in the recital routine at the discretion of the teacher. The school reserves the right to have students who come late to class, sit out the class.

Missed Lessons & Make-up Lessons

There are no scheduled make-up lessons for missed group dance classes. Students wishing to make-up a missed class are able to attend an available class on our schedule at a similar or lower level than the student is currently enrolled in.

Injuries

Parents, legal guardians of minor students, and adult students waive the right to any legal action for any injury sustained on school property resulting from normal dance activity or any other activity conducted by the students before, during or after class time or any event.

Photo & Media Release

Aspire is hereby granted permission to take photographs or videos of the students to use in brochures, websites, posters, advertisements and other promotional materials the studio creates. Permission is also hereby granted for the studio to copyright such photographs or videos in its name.

Dance Dress Code

Required dancewear and dance shoes must be worn to all classes. Failure to wear required dancewear to class could result in students being asked to sit out of the class. Repeated failure to wear required dancewear could result in termination of lessons. Students are not permitted to wear jeans or shoes worn on the street or outdoors, to any dance class. For safety reasons dancers are not permitted to wear jewelry. Long hair must be tied back.

Release of Liability

As the legal parent or guardian, I for myself and on behalf of my/my child’s heirs and personal representatives in consideration for my child’s and/or myself's participation in any dance or related activities while attending Aspire Dance LLC hereby release, acquit, discharge and hold harmless Aspire Dance LLC, and the venue where the dance classes and activities are held (including their respective owners, operators, employees, officers, directors, partners, licensees and agents and all of their respective heirs, personal representatives, executors, successors and assigns, hereinafter collectively “the Releasees”) from any and all liability, claims, actions, demands, causes of action, damages, costs, expenses, lost wages and loss of service of any kind whatsoever, for personal injury or property damage, known or unknown, arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained by my child and/or the undersigned, while in or upon the premises or any premises under the control and supervision of the Releasees or in route to or from any of said premises, whether arising before, during or after such activity/ies. I further covenant not to sue the Releasees for or on the account of any such injury(ies). I understand that I am free to address any specific questions regarding this release by submitting those questions in writing prior to signing, and I agree that my failure to do so will be interpreted as a free and knowledgeable acceptance of the terms of this release.
