RECREATIONAL PROGRAM POLICIES

Annual Fee:

All students will be charged a mandatory annual fee of $40. This insurance and registration fee cover the period of September 1st to August 31st inclusive.

Registration Policy:

For your convenience, class availability as well as registration can be viewed and completed online through our website. Current members (members of sessions 1 and 2) always have a scheduled pre-registration period prior to Open Registration for new members. A member is guaranteed a spot in the same class for the next session (applying to sessions 2 and 3), only until the Open Registration begins. NO place will be held without registration and payment. Registration must be completed online or in person – NO phone registrations are accepted.

Refund Policy:

A refund request must be submitted within 1 week of the start of a session via email or by written notice submitted to the office. If it is submitted prior to the second week of the session, a refund will be processed in the amount of the registration session fee minus a $10 Administration Fee. The refund will be issued to the credit card on your account or by cheque within 7 days of the request. Cheques will be mailed to the address on your account or arrangements can be made to have it picked up. Any refund requests submitted after the second class of the session will not be considered and a refund will not be issued. Please note that the annual fee is non-refundable.

Declined Payment Charge & Non Payment:

If you choose the E-Check option and the payment declines, you will be charged a $25 declined payment fee. It will automatically be charged to your account and it will need to be paid within 2 business days of the declined payment in order for your membership to remain in good standing and your child to remain in the class.

All accounts must be in good standing with a zero balance owing for your child to participate in class.

Rescheduling Classes:

Classes missed due to scheduled holidays or club events will be held during our administration break which occurs after each session. Reminder notices of upcoming holidays and rescheduled classes will be sent out as the dates draw near and will be posted on our website and social media pages.

Cancellation Policy:

In the event of extreme weather conditions, Beauséjour will announce cancellations on our voice mail, on social media, and on our website (www.beausejourgymnos.com). Unless extreme weather conditions occur unexpectedly, you can expect that these decisions will be made no later than one hour prior to a class beginning.

Members are responsible for checking the above locations prior to heading out for their scheduled class. Please note that class cancellations due to weather conditions WILL NOT be rescheduled.

Minimum Age Policy:

Children must be turning the minimum age of the program they are registering for, within the first 2 weeks of the session start date. If not, children will be required to register for the program to which their birthdate allows.

Class Requirement:

For a class to run, there must be a minimum of 3 participants registered. If there is not enough registration, registered participants will have the choice to move to a different class (assuming availability) or a refund will be issued.

Parent Viewing Policy:

The Beausejour Gymnastics Club has made every effort to ensure the safety of our members while maintaining social distancing protocols and the variety and quality of programs that we are accustomed to.

At this time, in order to do so, we must limit the number of spectators that we have in our viewing area. For our Spring 2021 Session, the following classes will be able to have one family member in our viewing area:

Preschool
CanGym Levels 1-4(Ages 5-7)
Trampoline Levels 1-4 (Ages 5-7)

The viewing area will be closed for all other classes. Parents are not required to stay for the class; however, parents of children that need assistance in the washroom must stay for the duration of the class.

**Please be reminded that Parent Tot classes require one parent/guardian participate directly in the class with the child.

Parent and/or Guardian Guidelines:

Please note that we are a nut and peppers free facility. We have members with severe allergies and their safety is a priority to us.
Parents and visitors are not allowed on the gym floor unless participating in Parent Tot or Preschool Drop-In classes.
Parents and visitors must stay in the observation lobby and refrain from standing in front of the glass or leaning over the boards.
Parents and visitors must refrain from talking to or otherwise distracting the children who are participating in the classes. Any interruptions could result in serious injury.
Parents must always supervise their children before and immediately after class. The Beauséjour Gymnastics Club does not assume responsibility for children left unsupervised during non-class times.
Parents must report any contraction of communicable diseases to a supervisor or director (ie. Warts, lice, chicken pox, etc).
Parents must treat athletes, coaches, staff and members with courtesy and respect in order to maintain a positive and safe environment for all.
All concerns should be directed to our Recreational Directors immediately.
Younger siblings/children cannot be worn in carriers during the parented class.

The Beauséjour Gymnastics Club reserves the right to ask a family to leave the program should a parent be disrespectful to any member of the club.

COMPETITIVE PROGRAM POLICIES

Annual Fee:

All students will be charged a mandatory annual fee of $110. This insurance and registration fee cover the period of September 1st to August 31st inclusive.

Refund Policy:

A $10 Administration Fee will be charged to process a refund. There is also a $10 Administration Fee to change a registration. Please note that the annual fee is non-refundable.

Declined Payment Charge:

A $25 fee will be charged for declined payments (credit card or e-check). It will automatically be charged to your account and it will need to be paid within 7 business days of the declined payment in order for your membership to remain in good standing and your child to continue with their training.

Rescheduling Classes:

Classes cancelled due to an event at our club or cancelled by their coach will be made up. Your child's coach will decide when the make up class will be scheduled for and you will notified as soon as possible.
