Description:
Come grab some clay and learn to throw ceramic pieces on the wheel. Students will learn the basics of wheel throwing such as centering, throwing, trimming, and glazing. Surface design techniques will also be discussed, and plenty of time given to help you create pottery that is unique to your style and taste!

Required age: 12 - 18 on the day of the activity
Notes: Students should come ready in clothes that can get covered in wet clay, or glaze. Pieces will be fired and ready for pick up 1 week after the last class session.
Prerequisites: PLEASE NOTE: When registering for camp, young artists must register as the grade they completed in the 2017/18 academic calendar.
