Description:
Study composition, contrast, perspective, balance and color theory while painting landscapes in an abstracted expressionist style in this 2-day workshop. Each student will have the opportunity to complete several canvases. Experience the expressive style media with Oregon's celebrated artist, Lynne Wintermute. Materials Needed: Medium of artists choice, oil, watercolor, pastel, acrylic etc.
Canvas, paper or board, whatever substrate student prefers to paint on.
Brushes or palette knives, palette paper.
Rags or paper towels
Landscape photos for inspiration
Instructor will provide a variety of extra mediums and papers and will demonstrate and paint in oil & cold wax as well as acrylic.
