Description:
In this course we will dive into the art of illustration and storytelling. Lessons will lead students through the foundations of illustration – from character development to storyboarding to finalizing an image – and more! The class will be fast paced and students will be expected to complete work outside of class in order to get the most out of their lessons. All experience levels are welcome and the instructor will be happy to work with each student based on their needs. Each class will include short demos, work time, and a critique with the instructor. Students can expect to go home with a portfolio of 5 to 10 finalized pieces following a story that they have developed from conception to final product. Course materials will be provided, however students are welcome to bring their own supplies if preferred. For more of the instructor's work, visit her website!
