Introduction to Oil & Cold Wax Medium Learn the basics of painting in this wonderful medium. We will study the many tools and techniques to use, then find our personal voice in several paintings. Oil & Cold Wax can be used in compositions from abstract to landscape to figurative. Guidance on composition will be included. No experience necessary! Please bring the following supplies: Gamblin Cold Wax Medium,16oz Gamblin alkyd medium,8oz Palette knife,liqutex 119907 ,119908 or similar Soft brayer Catalyst wedge,W-06 or W-01 Paper towels, blue shop towels or viva, no pattern Cradled Boards or canvas,or Arches Oil Paper, 6 substrates, any size Oil Paints of you choice,Reds,Blues, yellows black and white Merri Artist in McMinnville and Artists and Craftsmen in Portland (21st SE) have my supply list and gives my students a 10% discount.
