Notes: Damian majored in guitar and music theory, as well as training in music history and sight singing in Portland. He also studied privately with David Franzen and John Mery. Damian specializes in teaching classical, electric, and rhythmic Peruvian guitar, as well as piano and ukelele. Damian has performed in concert and restaurants around Portland. He also tutors in music theory and composes original pieces for the guitar. He believes that even the youngest of kids can learn to appreciate music, its rhythms, and its history. Music and Movement classes with teacher Damian are unlike any other children's music instruction you'll find. Damian believes that with the use colorful games and props even children ages two and up are capable of recognizing composers, time signatures, and music articulation. And you are never too old to learn!
