AR3: Spring Gardening 101 with George Marien

Description: Get your garden ready for its best spring ever! George will cover a broad range of topics from site soil preparation to making decisions about what to plant where, including optimal timing and sequencing for planting. He will review botanical catalogue shopping as well as how to make the best choices when you visit the garden centres. There will be some homework involved between classes as you learn how to research before making those important decisions that can transform your garden. Special site challenges will be discussed using home landscape gardening principles. George will lead an off-site field trip to a garden center and/or a nursery where he will share his plant purchasing expertise. Field trip details to be confirmed. An off-site waiver form must be signed prior to participating in this course.
