Description:
The Community Sailing Center coaches high school age sailors from around the region through the Northern Vermont High School Sailing Team, each season offering young sailors the chance to develop their skills and compete throughout New England. The team is open to any student in good standing attending public, private, or home school in Chittenden and surrounding counties. The team practices together three days every week after school from 3:30pm - 6:30pm. There may be some Friday practices unless there is a weekend regatta. Students must sail at an intermediate level or higher to participate in the spring. Previous racing experience or participation on the team is best. The team will practice 3 days a week with some weekend travel regattas TBD.

Required age: 13 - 18 on the day of the activity
Prerequisites: Due to the cold water temperatures spring sailors are required to have a full drysuit. Booties are also required.
