Description:
This class will familiarize you with tools and equipment, basic design, firing, and polishing techniques, as well as cutting and preparing glass. Various types of glass will be used - sheet, frit and dichroic- and you will learn some creative ways to complete finished, kiln-formed pieces. Learn how to design and complete several small fused glass pieces for jewelry or decorative elements for the home

Notes: Most tools are provided by the instructor. A supply list will be given in the first class. If you wish to do lampworking in this class, you must purchase the gas option when checking out. There will be no class on Sept. 27th.
