You’ve probably taken a ton of classes, learn how to make a project, often the teacherswork.You may find this fun but ultimately unfulfilling.This class is not project based, it'sabout what is personal to you. All art begins with inspiration. In this class we will beginby looking at how what you see and how you feel influences your work and how to usedesign principles to create jewelry that is your voice not someone else's.You will beencouraged to push yourself and design a piece outside your comfort zone.You will beguided to explore techniques you have not used before. It will be hard, but it will also setyou free!What you will LearnHow to access your creativityand develop skills that will form the foundation of your artistic practice. Each student will receive personal guidance through design, materials, fabrication techniques. Demos will be specifically designed to fit the needs of each student’s design.

Required age: 18+ on the day of the activity

Prerequisites: Basic soldering skills required. It is helpful if you have some fabrication skills but this is not required. All levels are encouraged to join.
