Description:
Grant students will participate in the Chalk the Walk event that is hosted in Mount Vernon on May 2nd and 3rd. Students will come up with the theme and work together to create an 8X8 work of art. Students will also create a framed work in chalk to take home after presenting at the Arts Alive! Showcase on May 16th.

Notes: Students will participate in the Arts Alive! Showcase on Saturday, May 16th at Harding Middle School. Art work will be displayed during the event, beginning at 9:00am, Performances will be held from 9:30 until approximately 12:00. Please plan to attend with your child. Performance and presentation is an important part of the artistic process. The event is FREE! Look for information from your instructor as the date approaches.
