Description:

Advanced gymnastics classes with a focus on flexiblity, strength, and skill mastery.  Athletes will use the beam, bars, floor, vault and tumble track to use their gymnastics skills on apparatus. A skills focus will be on handstands, roundoffs and handspring preparation. Please note, the CanGym program will be followed, but during this short 4-week session, no badges will be issued.

Required age: 5 - 14 on the day of the activity

Notes: We are following the most current Step 3 Indoor Recreational Sport Protocols. * Proof of vaccination is required for ALL participants 12 years of age and older. * Everyone is screened at the door and temperature is taken. Contact tracing sheets are kept. * Coaches and adults wear masks inside the gym. * Everyone wears a mask in the lobby. * Hands are sanitized at entry and frequently in the gym. * Equipment is misted with disinfectant spray after use. * Athletes are to maintain 6 ft physical distance. * Washrooms are disinfected after each use. * Gym is fogged each evening. * Athletes are dropped off at the door with the exception of Parent and Tot programs. One parent enters with one child. Parent must show proof of vaccination. * Retail is available by appointment for shopping for body suits, shorts, grips, hoodies, shirts, hats, etc...

Prerequisites: Novice levels in CanGym (Tan and Bronze) must be completed. Experience in our Intermediate and Advanced levels (Purple and Blue and Turquoise) will be helpful.
