WELCOME TO FLIP 'N' WICKED GYMNASTICS!

WHAT TO WEAR
Girls must wear a one-piece body suit, or a fitted tank top with bike-style shorts. Two piece suits exposing the midruff are not considered acceptable attire. Exposed skin can be 'pinched' when performing on the apparatus (e.g. bars). Hair must be pulled neatly and securely away from the face. Boys should wear sport clothing, track shorts and a t-shirt; nothing with snaps, buckles or zippers. All athletes are to have clean, bare feet and clean hands. No jewellery is to be worn in the gym. Coats should be hung up on the lobby hooks. Personal clothing and items may be left in the change room hooks and shelving. Make sure all items and shoes are labeled with their name. Please leave all jewellery and valuables at home. Our staff will not be responsible for ANY items that are lost, stolen or broken.

ARRIVAL AND PICK UP
Upon arrival, please remove your footwear in the front lobby. Leave any shoes and boots in the shoe mats provided. Parents are also expected to leave shoes on the shoe trays in the lobby. To avoid congestion in the change room area, your child can arrive 10 minutes before his/her scheduled class time and wait on the carpet to enter the gym. Once your child is in the gym, you are free to go, or you may wait in our parent viewing areas. All athletes must wait inside the facility until a parent has picked them up. Please pick up your child on time.

IN THE GYM
With the exception of Parent-and-Tot class, parents are not permitted in the gym. If you wish to stay and watch, there are parent viewing areas along the hallways and in the front lobby. Please do not distract your child inside the gym. Children must enter and exit the gym from the door by the party room only. Athletes must act safely and be respectful of their classmates and coaches. Any behaviour deemed unsafe will result in the athlete's removal from the class. Parents are expected to encourage good sportsmanship, and positive support for athletes, coaches, and staff. Please treat coaches with respect and dignity, voicing any concerns privately in the office with the coach and administration present.

ABSENCES
In case of missed classes due to illness or any other reason such as vacation or personal scheduling conflict, make-up classes are not offered.

GYMNASTICS ONTARIO FEE
All athletes will be charged a GYMNASTICS ONTARIO insurance and registration fee of $38.00 + HST. This fee is valid from July 1st until June 30th each year. If an athlete registers for more than one sesion, no additional GO fee is charged. HST is calculated on the cost of all online registration prices and membership fees.

REFUND POLICY
Refunds are available upon request until the start of the 3rd class only. Refunds are subject to a $25 administrative fee. (GO fee cannot be refunded or credited.) After the start of the 3rd class, only credit notes will be issued with a 1-year expiry date. Refunds and credits are calculated effective the date the office is notified. Absence does not constitute withdrawal. Make up classes are not offered. If there is a medical reason, a monetary refund minus any classes attended and a $25 cancellation fee will apply. A medical note must accompany this request.

REGISTRATION
All registrations are done online, in person at our facility, or at community events. Please use a Registration Form from our office if not registering online. We will provide an emailed or printed invoice. Please make sure to read the Policies and Waivers form before you click the 'I accept' button. (Or sign and date it, if not registering online.) HST is calculated on the cost of all online class and membership prices.

COMMUNICATION
Communication regarding cancellations and upcoming events is done by email. Please provide a current email address/ print your email clearly on the registration for effective communication.

OFFICE HOURS
The office may not be open every hour the gym is active. Please note our office hours posted on our website as well as at our facility. Office staff may be reached by email, or by telephone. Expect a reply within 1 business day.

GYM POLICIES:

Space is limited in each class. Registrations are accepted on a first-come first-serve basis.
Registrants must be the correct age for the selected class within 14 days of the start date of the session.
Required attire:

Girls – one-piece body suit (no skirt) & hair tied back, shorts/legging and t-shirt is also appropriate
Boys – gym shorts and t-shirt
Boys and Girls: Clean hands and bare feet; no jewellery including hoop style earrings and necklaces and bracelets, anklets.

Gymnastics equipment may not be used unless under coach supervision (only students and staff may enter the gym. Parents may not enter the gym.)
Water bottles containing water only are permitted in the specified area in the gym.
No gum in the gym.
We operate a “peanut/nut free environment.” Please do not bring any food products containing peanuts/nuts into the facility.
Viewing area is for indoor footwear only, you will be asked to remove your shoes/boots/sandals/flip flops in the lobby, please bring your own indoor footwear as needed
Alcohol, cigarettes, marijuana, cannabis, cannabis products, vapour cigarettes or devices and vape "juice" are not permitted on the premises.
Registrations are not considered confirmed unless full payment is received.
$30 NSF cheque fees shall be the responsibility of the client.

Repairs to the premises caused by damage from an athlete or guest, including fines and costs attached to pulling the fire alarm falsely, will be paid for by the parent of the athlete or guest.

CONSENT OF PARENT OR GUARDIAN AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY

I am the parent or legal guardian of the child(ren) being registered.
I acknowledge that Flip ‘n’ Wicked Gymnastics is operating out of Flip ‘n’ Wicked Gymnastics, 443 the Queensway South, Unit 2, in the town of Keswick, Province of Ontario for the purpose of gymnastics and trampoline activities.
I agree to my child participating in the gymnastics and/ or trampoline activities being carried out under the supervision of the Flip ‘n’ Wicked Gymnastics in the aforementioned facility.
I understand and confirm that the Flip ‘n’ Wicked Gymnastics shall have no responsibility or liability should any loss or injury be suffered by my son or daughter while participating in such gymnastics and/or trampoline activities, to be carried out under the supervision of Flip ‘n’ Wicked Gymnastics staff.
In return for the Flip ‘n’ Wicked Gymnastics permitting the use of the facility during the season specified on the registration form or date specified on the birthday party invitation, which license also includes permitting members of the Flip ‘n’ Wicked Gymnastics (of which my son or daughter is a member or invited guest) to use the facility, I HEREBY FOREVER RELEASE AND DISCHARGE the Flip ‘n’ Wicked Gymnastics, including their respective board members, officers, employees, agents, and successors from and against all manner of claims, demands, actions suits, legal proceedings or damages which I or my child, or both, may have any loss or injury which may arise out of which is in any way related to my child’s participating in the gymnastics or trampoline activities referred above.

Email Consent and Usage:

Flip ‘n’ Wicked Gymnastics is trying to reduce our global footprint by reducing the amount of paper notifications. All of our communications will be primarily through email: cancelled classes, class times change, competitions, pictures, display, seasonal newsletters, and other important information that we may have to send to you. We will also be updating our website with this information as it occurs. This information will not be shared with outside sources.

Flip ‘n’ Wicked Gymnastics has my permission to use my child’s photograph, video and audio recordings, likeness, artwork, profile and/or story on their web pages and other promotional materials produced, used by and representing Flip ‘n’ Wicked Gymnastics. I understand the circulation of the materials could be worldwide and that there will be no compensation to me for this use.
