ABOUT US The Gloucester Skating Club has been serving skaters since 1971 and 2021 marked our 50th Anniversary! We are currently one of the largest clubs in Canada with an active membership of more than 1,000 skaters. Our club offers a wide variety of skating programs including CanSkate, STARSkate, Competitive, Dance, Pairs, Adult/Teen/Rec and PowerSkating programs. The Club’s professional coaching staff are second to none. Their efforts, along with the skaters’ talent and hard work, contribute to the success of our club. Since its inception in 1971, the Gloucester Skating Club has been the home and training center of many accomplished skaters and coaches. These individuals successfully competed at National, International and Olympic levels. We pay tribute to their accomplishments and contributions to the sport through our Hall of Fame. A team of volunteers governs the Gloucester Skating Club. The Board of Directors is elected yearly at the November Annual General Meeting. With operational leadership provided by a General Manager, Club Administrator and Bookkeeper.
