Are you looking to get moving following the birth of your baby but don't know what's safe or where to start? We've got you covered. Our Mama Moves program offers six weeks of different fitness classes - from yoga to baby wearing dance and everything in between - designed especially for new mums. This class is BYOB (bring your own babe!) and offers a fun and low-pressure way to get out of the house, socialize, and see what Ottawa has to offer in the way of postpartum fitness options. Each fitness class is 45 minutes followed by 15m minutes to informally socialize with the group. This class is designed with non-mobile babies in mind and is best suited to mums who are between 6 weeks and 9 months postpartum.

Required age: 16+ on the day of the activity

Notes: Masks must be worn: to enter and move about the building, throughout your class while indoors, and until the start of some programs, such as dance and fitness. (Note: You may not have to wear a mask during these active classes.) Masks may be optional if your instructor, the size of the room, and the number of participants permit. As the situation of this pandemic changes, we will adjust our policy in a manner that we feel is responsive and reasonable. If you are at all unwell, please do not attend class in the interest of protecting the health of the other participants and staff. Refunds, Credits and Transfers: Notification required:  At least 1 week’s notice in advance of the program / class / workshop start date. 1. Within notification period:  Refund with 7% admin fee or credit on GNAG account with no fee. 2. Less than notification period:  Refunds or credits on GNAG account will not be issued. 3. Change your mind?  Notify us first! We can help. A transfer requires the same period of notification. Pro-rated refunds will be given with a medical certificate should a refund be approved. Emilie’s classes, memberships for indoor playground, school walkovers, pottery studio and fitness memberships and tickets are NON- REFUNDABLE. There will be no refunds for tickets to our events. There will be no refunds after the program mid-point. Please send a detailed email to info@gnag.ca or call us at 613-233-8713 if you would like a refund. Withdrawal because a client does not agree with our Covid protocols will still incur a 7% admin fee and will still require the above noted notification timeline.
