Description:
Teaching artist, Mary Knysh and music educator, Dee Mann engage students in a musical journey around the world! Participants explore fun and engaging rhythms, songs, stories and dances from many world cultures including Africa, South America and Caribbean while gaining skills for creating their own self expressive music. In this program students will design and create their own personalized tubano drum as they learn about cultural rhythms and drums from around the world. Come and join this exciting musical adventure and create your very own tubano drum that you can play for years! In our program you will: Learn to drum Invent your own music Create a personal drum Explore world music
