Description:
Join our cadre of Texas Master Naturalists and LLELA Lovers on Wednesday, September 22nd from 9am-Noon to help us restore the Blackland Praire! Special thanks to One Tree Planted for supporting this public event and adding LLELA Nature Preserve to their international restoration efforts! With over 11 million trees planted across the globe, the nonprofit has been saving the world, one tree at a time, since 2014. Ready to get your hands dirty restoring one of the most endangered ecosystems in America?
Required age: 13+ on the day of the activity
Notes: Pre-registration for this event is required. Volunteers are encouraged to wear closed-toed shoes, long sleeves, and long pants as protection from the sun and biting/stinging insects. While work gloves, water, and a snack will be provided, volunteers are encouraged to bring a full and refillable bottle of water.
