Au cours de cette semaine de camp de jour spécialisé, les enfants découvriront l’univers de Jackson Pollock. Cet artiste étatsunien d’avant-garde travaillait à New York dans les années 1940. Les enfants auront la chance de découvrir sa pratique artistique notoire lors de projets de dripping. Cette manière singulière de peindre est propre à l’action painting, dont les enfants auront l’occasion d’exécuter de plusieurs manières. Ils seront immergés dans l’art avant-gardiste étatsunien et exploreront la pratique de d’autres artistes notoires de cette période, dont Lee Krasner, la femme de Jackson Pollock. La semaine sera conclue par un vernissage qui mettra à l’horreur les œuvres créées durant les ateliers.

During this week of specialized day camp, children will discover the world of Jackson Pollock. This avant-garde American artist worked in New York in the 1940s. The children will have the chance to discover his notorious artistic practice during dripping projects. This unique way of painting is specific to action painting, which the children will have the opportunity to execute in many ways. They will be immersed in American avant-garde art and explore the practice of other notable artists of the period, including Lee Krasner, Jackson Pollock's wife. The week will conclude with a vernissage that will showcase the works created during the workshops.
