Join Akilah Allen-Silverstein of ‘No Silence on Race’ for a hands-on poetry workshop and conversation around intersectional experiences and identities, exploring art as an important medium to express pain, joy and internal conflict.  

 

About Akilah: 

Akilah Allen-Silverstein lives in Toronto, she is a Certified Financial Planner and Registered Retirement Consultant with Mandeville Private Client Inc. She has her own brand Silverstein Wealth which has adopted the mantra: integrity, professionalism and diligence. She presently serves on the board of the East York Rotary Club, and the Birth Right Israel Foundation Canada Youth Leadership Counsel. She is a co-founder of the movement No Silence on Race which is an organization dedicated to uplifting the voices of Jewish Communities of Colour by advocating for anti-racist, equitable and inclusive Jewish spaces in Canada.
