2024 Equipment Fund

The story of rowing is a simple one. People think it's about waking up at a ridiculous hour and intense workouts. But any rower will tell you it's about committing to something larger than themselves, and giving their heart and soul all in the pursuit of something greater. The heart of the Ottawa Rowing Club is built by our volunteers and rowers. They invest time to better themselves and others, but also to strengthen our greater community one stroke at a time. Behind every smile, and every gold medal, there is a club, its volunteers and, most importantly, there are the resources required to get us out on the water.  Please consider contributing to our Equipment Fund. As a non-profit organization, we operate on limited funds, from grants and with the support of donations from our members. 100% of your donation will purchase blades, shells, motor boats, docks, essential tools for our volunteers & more.

In 2023, the ORC purchased oars using the funds collected through the Equipment Fund. We thank all those that made a contribution.
