Description:
Introduction to Arduino: Make your own musical automata Kids will get an introduction to breadboarding and Java Processing to give them a good basis for learning how to program an Arduino for a variety of components including IR sensors, neopixels, servo motors and piezo buzzers. They’ll finish the week by using a variety of materials to create a musical Arduino-powered automata that kids can take home at the end of the week. Kids can bring their own computers (Chromebooks are acceptable for this) or use ours. All of their files will be online and all projects can be kept. $300 plus $50 materials fee for Arduino and components. If you think you might already have the components, email dina@partsandcrafts.org for a parts list to check. This workshop will take place at 577 Somerville Ave.
