Soccer 1 & 2's (17-35mos) Thu 6:20pm at STM

Description:

1's and 2's is for toddlers aged 17 months - 35 months who are always on the go! During the weekly session our experienced coaches lead children and parents through a series of fun imaginative games with balls, cones, noodles, tunnels and parachutes. All activities are designed to enhance balance and coordination while introducing the concept of eye-foot-ball control and basic soccer skills. Most importantly, we keep it fun and full of energy. Our popular program not only introduces the game of soccer, but also provides parents with an opportunity to spend time with their child while passing along a love of the game. Parental/caregiver participation is required.

Jersey, shorts and socks are included and will be distributed at the field prior to first class. Program uses City of Hamilton maintained grass soccer fields at William Schwenger Park beside STM. Porta-potties are available onsite.

Soccer players should bring water bottles and parents are encouraged to bring camp chairs.

Class size is limited and programs will be modified to follow all applicable COVID guidelines. The same parent/caregiver is encouraged to attend all sessions.

Notes: Soccer operates rain or shine (program will be cancelled if City closes fields or if thunder & lightning develops during session). Program will be modified to adhere to COVID guidelines in place at time of program delivery.

Prerequisites: Active children with an adult caregiver ready to run and have fun.
