u12 (10-12yrs) Mon games & Thu practice

Location: STM / William Schwenger Park | 1045 Upper Paradise Road, Hamilton, ON, L9B 2N4

Description:

u12 is a twice weekly outdoor house league for players aged 10-12yrs. Practice is on Thursdays at William Schwenger Park with Monday games (7v7, 6+GK) at BGT Sports Field grass field. Practice is always at the same time while games rotate between 5:30pm and 8:30pm. Players play all positions including goalie and games are officiated by adult referees. Paid coaches ensure everyone gets equal playing time, instruction and encouragement from the sidelines.

Jersey, shorts and socks are included and will be distributed at the field prior to first practice. 

Program uses City of Hamilton maintained grass soccer fields at William Schwenger Park beside STM and the HWDSB artificial turf field at Nora Frances Henderson Secondary School. Porta-potties are available at both locations. 

Shin guards are mandatory & outdoor soccer cleats are recommended. Jewellery must be removed or taped and glasses must be securely held with a strap. Players should bring water bottles and parents are encouraged to bring camp chairs to cheer from the sidelines.

Drills and games will be modified to follow all applicable COVID guidelines.

Notes: Soccer operates rain or shine (program will be cancelled if City closes fields or if thunder & lightning develops during session). Program will be modified to adhere to COVID guidelines in place at time of program delivery.
