Description:
Monday Senior Flag Football at Soccer World offers experienced and new players a chance to develop and play in a fun, safe and non-contact environment. Staff coaches begin with a short practice before playing a game where everyone gets a chance to catch and run the ball. Throughout the season, football players will be taught the fundamentals of throwing, receiving, rushing, and defense as they rotate between offense and defense. Our focus is on the basics of the game, and more advanced routes and defensive strategies. From the first week skills-only practice to the championship game, we make the football players feel like they’re in the pros! Staff coaches play quarterback to ensure equal playing time and guarantee all players have the opportunity to succeed, regardless of their abilities. A second coach runs the defense offering encouragement and instruction from the field. Our games are high energy, with lots of touchdowns, and a perennial parent favourite! ** Outdoor cleats are recommended. Football gloves are allowed, but not required. ** First week is skills-only & evaluation scrimmage. Teams will be assigned after week 1. Weekly game times will be a combination of 5:05pm, 6pm, 6:55pm and 7:50pm.

Notes: COVID rules are outside our control and may change without notice. Program content, start and end dates may change. Spectators may or may not be allowed indoors. Participants & spectators may have to wear masks. Vaccination may be required for entry. Classes/clinics/games may be cancelled due to COVID cases. Facility may be closed due to capacity restrictions, lockdowns or other measures. Partial CREDITS will be issued if government lockdown results in cancelled sessions. Cancellation prior to the first session is a full credit less $75 admin fee per player. Cancellation or withdrawals after first session is 100% non-refundable. No credits or refunds for any missed sessions including illness, close contact with a positive case, quarantine or refusing to wear masks if required.
