Description:
Baseball 5/6 introduces baseball to children aged five and six years and advances the player’s prior knowledge and skills. During the weekly sessions, our experienced coaches continue to work on developing baseball fundamentals with a focus on hitting, throwing and fielding mechanics. Drills and games are specially designed to teach the basics while keeping the classes fun and full of energy. This popular program builds skills while instilling a love of the game. Some parental assistance may be requested. Program runs at Father Sean O'Sullivan Park (King & Greenhill) which has a porta-potty and street parking. Class is limited to 6 children.

Notes: Wednesdays at 5:30pm Players should wear running shoes and bring a baseball glove and water bottle. Parents should wear athletic footwear. Jersey and cap is included and will be distributed at the park on the first day. Baseball operates rain or shine (program will be cancelled if City of Hamilton closes the field or if thunder & lightning develops during session). *** CANCELLATION POLICY *** - Cancellation 2+ weeks prior is refundable less $50 per player. - Cancellation 0-14 days prior is credit less $50 per player. - Cancellation once program has started is non-refundable.
