St. Jude's FC

Description

Based in Mississauga, St. Jude’s FC is a soccer academy that develops young players from the U4-6 age bracket all the way through to U18. We follow the Ontario Soccer Long Term Development Plan to see children enjoy the game to the fullest while providing them with the tools they need to take their game to the next level. St. Jude's FC began as a shared vision from the academy's owners, coaches and soccer players from St. Jude's Academy, a private school also based in Mississauga. Their love for the beautiful game shaped a plan to build an academy that puts player development first while remaining affordable. Only a small fraction of those who start playing the game make it to the professional ranks; our goal is to identify those who have the potential to and develop them so they are ready to capture that opportunity. We acknowledge that a young player's attachment to the game is largely dependent on the enjoyment of their learning experience so we shape our teaching methods to make playing soccer as enjoyable as it should be. Along with aspiring professional players, many children play for the thrill the sport brings. Therefore, we offer a variety of programs, including competitive teams, development and recreational leagues, to match every player's needs. The academy has invested in facilities to assure an effective and comfortable learning environment for our players. We offer our facilities for rent to outside clubs so soccer continues to grow in Canada.
