Musical Theater Audition Prep Workshop for ages 10-17 (Tu-Fri, July 5- July 8)

Description:

Thespians will sharpen their audition skill sets in this 3-part focused workshop. Each camp day will have time dedicated to mental prep and monologue selection/delivery targeted for use in auditions.  Another section of the workshop will be devoted to vocal work/delivery. And the third part will allow participants to practice learning sections of choreography quickly and effectively, as would be needed for auditions. Participants will work with veteran directors to hone two hand-selected songs and two monologues, building an audition repertoire for each workshop participant.  Participants who also attend the Summer Intensive will be given different songs and monologues than what was assigned in that camp, in a way designed to expand their range and depth as an actor/singer. Delivery of these hand-selected songs and monologues will be practiced in front of other HUB camp attendees.

Required age: 10 - 17 on the day of the activity

Notes: Cancellation Policy: All summer theater camps tuition is non-refundable. A parent may submit a written request for a partial tuition credit for future programming in the event of a medical emergency. Covid Policy: We will be following Boulder County Covid procedures. Masks are strongly encouraged, but not required, indoors.
