Description:

Our newest addition to the Goslings line-up.  Monday Gossies has been created to accomodate and support a growing interest in nature immersion programs for the 4-7 yrs age bracket.

Also, the youngsters at Trillium Waldorf School have Monday afternoons off :)

Goslings is a way to build essential nature connection into your child's week, and at an age when the benefits of dirt time are so pronounced.

Guelph Outdoor School Goslings programs have an intentional emphasis on free play, opportunities for expanding sensory awareness and integration, lighting up the "awe and wonder" cortex through the well-placed and curious questioning of mentors, thrilling games that teach, child-led exploration, and adventures on the land.

GOSlings lays the early foundations for common sense, co-operation, stewardship, empathy, and self-sufficiency by taking on tasks and challenges that are age appropriate and relevant to young minds and bodies.  This can mean anything from scanning for hazards, putting food out for birds, or making seed bombs to plant more milkweed for the monarchs.

Each session features an opening and closing circle, warm up games, a focused challenge, a chance for rest, and time for timelessness.  Story of the day helps young minds re-live experiences, make meaning, and benefit from well-placed questions from mentors.  Truly a work out for the needs of young and vital humans.
