Description:

This is a 2-hour drop-in course where participants will learn how to build a character, find a team to explore a fantasy land with and learn safety skills throughout the activity. Participants will be given a break during the session and a small snack. D&D is a collaborative high fantasy storytelling game that uses elements of chance and luck, in combination with elements of improv theatre, to build a tabletop narrative. It fosters social skills and creative, collaborative problem solving, as well as skills in group story telling, and boundary setting. It encourages individual choice while also demonstrating how these choices impact others.
