What is mindfulness?

Mindfulness means paying attention in a particular way; on purpose, in the present moment, and non-judgmentally.

Come learn how mindfulness and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction can make a difference in your life.  This free class is designed for those who are planning on taking the full eight-week course as well as anyone either considering the course or curious what MBSR is all about. 

Join CFM trained teacher Dawn King for the one-hour session to learn more about MBSR, including:

  • What is mindfulness and what it's not.
  • The benefits of mindfulness.
  • Learn a practice that you can use in your day-to-day life when stressed. 

We will reserve time at the end of the session to answer any questions you have about mindfulness and our upcoming course.
