Minturn Downriver (6/14) - Kayak

Description:

Cost includes shuttle, raffle prizes and beer at post-race party.

Race starts at the Boneyard Open Space south of town and finishes at the Minturn Saloon. Racers should park at the finish in the Town of Minturn municipal lot adjacent to the Turntable. The VRD will provide shuttles to the start for racers and gear.

*R2 teams must provide their own boat. Boats can be up to 12’.

Race Day Schedule:
3:30pm - Onsite registration, bib pickup and shuttles begins
5:20pm - Races start
6:30pm - Awards and After Party at The Minturn Saloon

Required age: 16+ on the day of the activity

Prerequisites: This race is open to all paddlers ages 16 and up and intermediate to expert abilities. Under 16 year old participants should email bpappas@vailrec.com to inquire about registration.
