The Valley Art Center now offers in person art therapy group and individual sessions to the Northeast Ohio area. Our Art Therapist Connor Costanzo received her master’s degree in Counseling and Art Therapy from Ursuline College. Before this, she earned her bachelor’s in Studio Art with minors in both Ceramics and Psychology from The University of Akron. Art and healing are two of Connor’s lifelong passions. The passion she has for creating inspires her to brighten the lives of others. Community-based art therapy is her particular area of interest. She enjoys collaborating with community members to help them transform, grow, and connect through art. Connor also works at Hopewell, a farm-based residential treatment program, as a Therapeutic Community Clinician and Art Therapist. Outside of her work, Connor enjoys creating art, dancing with hula-hoops, spending time in nature, and playing with her dog Otis. She is delighted to be a part of the Valley Art Center Team.
